I’m Kath, a professional organiser helping busy women and families turn cluttered, overwhelming spaces into calm, practical homes.
I’ve trained with and been accredited by Dilly Carter, the UK’s leading professional organiser and star of BBC One’s Sort Your Life Out. But what matters most to my clients isn’t the accreditation, it’s the warm, non judgemental way we work together.
I know how it feels when life is full and the house starts to feel like one more thing on the list. I’ve been there too. So I’ll help you find a way through, gently and practically, so your home feels calmer, easier to use and properly back in your control.
I know what it’s like to be juggling a full time job, a busy home and a to-do list that never seems to end, with no time left over for yourself.
For years I worked full time in a corporate role. My house was never quite tidy, I felt like I was living out of a suitcase and my mind always felt cluttered. When lockdown gave me the chance to slow down, I finally had the time to rethink how I wanted to live and to turn my love of organising into helping other people feel calmer in their own homes.
That’s why I do this. I understand the mental load of a busy household, and I know how much lighter everything feels once your space starts working for you instead of against you.
If your home has been weighing on your mind, the best place to start is a quick look at the ways we can work together, from a focused half-day to a full home project or a friendly, no pressure call to talk it through.
When I was 6, I was playing the ‘lead’ role in my primary school Christmas play and somehow knew the order and script of the play better than my schoolteacher! There is a moment (captured on video) where I forcefully tell her “no that is wrong…person X should be speaking now” – did someone say bossy?!
I am the default organiser of all my friends and family, if an event needs to be arranged then they will leave it to me, as they know I can’t wait until the last minute and will therefore start planning well in advance.
My mum never dressed me in pink when I was young as she thought it clashed with my hair colour (strawberry blonde I’ll have you know!) hence why I think I have such an obsession with it now.
At the age of 37 I got my first, secret tattoo, the word “love” on my left wrist. Reminds me wherever I am, whatever I’m doing, I always have love carried with me.
I’d love to hear what’s going on in your home and how I can help. There’s no pressure and no judgement, just a friendly chat about your space.
