Haven’t done one of these in a while, but whilst sorting the charity shop donations this morning I realised that having chucked most of the boxes for the kids stuff, I needed an alternative solution for the toys with lots of little bits.

Quick and simple tip - just use some plastic food bags and group together items and then seal, or tape to the bigger item they go with.

Much easier for the charity shop staff to manage and hopefully these will get re-homed with some other lovely children at Christmas 🎄

Now just got to get over the sadness that my nieces have grown out of these toys 💔 #stopgrowingnowplease

One of the delights of training with @declutterdollies is the work experience she is gifting us.

This week we had the opportunity to help an incredible charity @ellenorcharity - they’ve recently had a completely new hospice building built and after being scattered across various sites for the last 2 years it was time to bring all the items back and get them decluttered, organised & labelled, making it super quick and easy for all their incredible staff and volunteers to be able to access items when running activities or therapy sessions.

This is the reason I 🩷 what I do.

🧡 𝚂 𝙸 𝙼 𝙿 𝙻 𝙴 𝚁 𝙴 𝚂

Sometimes the littlest of things can make the biggest of differences. When living on my own I was pretty organised, everything had a place and nowhere was really a dumping ground.

Fast forward to 2024, a glorious 18 months living with my now fiancée and things are slightly more chaotic.

What was simply a cat bed / scratching post had become a dumping ground / shoe storage and made our relatively small hallway feel very cluttered! 🤯

So we had a chat and agreed we needed something better. His logic - I don’t want to put my shoes away in some storage in another room, I take them off when I come in the door and if you want me to put them away, then the storage needs to be there. Fair point!

Storage cupboard ordered Friday, assembled Tuesday and ready to go Wednesday 👍🏻

Already I feel calmer when I come down the stairs into the hallway or arrive home through the front door 🧘🏼‍♀️

Now onto the next project - poor him!

➪ A little glimpse into what the last 7 days has held. There is no set routine, the days just happen, from training with the fab Dilly Carter, to Prosecco with friends and coaching with the fab @esther_growthstrategist @realworldconsultancy 🩶

Forever grateful this is the life I lead. This week off to another declutter & organise job at a familiar home - stay tuned for the before & after 🩶
